Get Rich Quick: Poverty Or Laziness

If you are a frequent visitor of webmaster and business forums you will often see posts accusing someone of being lazy or looking to get rich quick. Someone may come in and make a post that says I want to make $1000 this week what should I do? Those that get mad at these types of questions do not seem to take into consideration that a lot of people are poor. That person that says that may have a legitimate reason to want to get rich quick. They most likely need the money to make a difference in their life. Also just because someone wants to make money in a short period of time does not mean they are lazy or that they do not work hard. People always associate money and success with hard work when they should not. Someone could work really hard to make money and still not make any.

It is very easy for that person to then change their approach out of desperation and try to make money in a faster way because they need it no because they are greedy. Also because they have worked hard and not benefited so they change their approach. Do not assume that everyone is in the same situation to be patient. Do not assume that someone has not worked hard or is lazy just because they are in a different financial situation then you are.

Motivate Yourself By Doing What You Love

?Along with a strong belief in your own inner voice, you also need laser-like focus combined with unwavering determination.? -Larry Flynt

Are you restless in your current job position and hate going into work everyday? Do you have a nagging want to do something else or a particular goal to accomplish? Most psychologists believe that if individuals ignore their desires they will become points of increasing restlessness. They will go from being a want to a need and surface again and again.

If you have to work 40 or more hours a week, you should at least be doing something you enjoy.

Desires are often blocked out by the daily grind and people forget that they have goals they want to accomplish. Procrastination is a dream stealer and can leave you bitter in your old age. If you want to do something you truly enjoy you need to start today. You are capable of anything you set your mind too. With the right amount of time, energy, and pure determination you can do anything your heart desires.

Perhaps you are doing something you hate simply because you do not know what you would actually enjoy doing. Begin by taking the time to reflect on what makes you happy. Make a list of professions you would like to try or activities that you enjoy doing. Think back to your childhood and what games you like to play.

Think about who you pretended to be and what you loved to do. Ask yourself ?What do I want to achieve in my work?? Is it only individual success, or do you have hopes of changing the world? You may want to consider visiting the local library or looking online for career resources, classes, or even a life advisor.

This will help you bring into focus what you would love to do with your life. This is the first step in doing what you love. Once you have decided on the path just go for it and implement your plan. There is plenty of time along the way to build skills, and acquire new knowledge.

Another factor which prevents people from doing what they love is age. Many people think they are simply too old for a career change and are resigned to live out their miserable existence. Whether you are a new graduate, a middle aged mother of 4, or a new retiree ? you still have the time and energy to achieve those dreams which have been pushed to the sidelines.

Doing what you love will bring fulfillment and satisfaction in your life that is unmatched by any other endeavor. Begin your new life today!

Unpaid Bills? Let The Drawer Worry!

My Dad was a very interesting guy.

Primarily, he sold for a living, though he had a formal education consisting of undergraduate and law school training.

He also produced radio and TV as well as Las Vegas nightclub acts, including one for Wolfman Jack, a far-out radio DJ who promoted himself into TV and movie stardom.

Financially, we saw some good times and some bad times, but all of the time my Dad seemed to remain reliably calm. Later, I?d wonder if he ever studied Zen or meditated because he was tranquil in circumstances that would drive others batty.

One of Dad?s secrets was not worrying, specifically about money matters.

He knew there was an ebb and flow to wealth, and you just shouldn?t treat any situation as if it is not going to change.

When the bills would start accumulating he?d say with a big grin:

?Gary, if I grow concerned about bills I bundle them together with a rubber band, and tuck them away in a drawer. And then, I LET THE DRAWER WORRY!?

At the time, I must admit, his attitude seemed very flaky.

If YOU don?t worry, I wondered, who will? And don?t you have to keep them in front of you so you?ll develop the motivation to pay them?

What I didn?t appreciate is worry doesn?t pay bills or for anything else. In fact, when you worry, you distract yourself from what you really need to do, which is problem solving.

Robert Schuller once wrote: ?You don?t have a money problem. You have an IDEA problem!?

How can you formulate new and creative ideas when you?re burdened with worry?

You can?t.

When dad passed, he didn?t owe anybody a dime, and I believe he went out with a smile on his face.

That drawer, on the other hand, squeaked miserably!
